Terms & Conditions
Please read these terms carefully before engaging Webzee Australia for website design, development, SEO, or related digital services.
Welcome to Webzee Australia. When you hire us to design or build your website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before starting a project with us.
01 Payments & Deposits
You pay a 50% deposit before we start work. We invoice 25% when we deliver the first draft. We invoice the final 25% when we finish the project.
We may agree to a different payment plan if you ask us in advance. We can pause work at any time if you don't pay on time. We don't offer refunds once work has started.
02 Information You Need to Give Us
You must give us the material we need to do the job. This includes:
- Photos
- Logos
- Written content
- Any other files we ask for
If you are late sending this material, we may need to push back your deadline. Your delay will stop us from finishing the project. In that case, we can invoice you for the work we have already done.
03 Changes & Revisions
We welcome your feedback. We'll make reasonable changes based on your original brief.
Our plans include a set number of revision rounds. If you ask for changes outside the original brief, we may charge an extra fee.
04 Project Timelines
The timeline we give you at the start is an estimate. It depends on how quickly you respond to us.
We need regular feedback from you to keep the project moving. Please assign one point of contact to work with us. Slow responses on your end can delay the project.
05 Accepting the Work
Once we send you the first draft, you have 7 days to review it.
Tell us in writing if you're not happy with something. If we don't hear from you within 7 days, we treat the work as accepted.
Once you accept the work, you can't reject it later. The final payment becomes due at this point.
06 Rejecting the Work
If you reject the work within 7 days, we'll review your feedback and make reasonable fixes.
If we believe your rejection is unreasonable, we may end the contract. In that case, you still owe us the outstanding balance. We can take steps to recover that payment.
07 Final Invoice
After the 7-day review period, we send you an invoice for the remaining balance based on our agreed quote.
08 Your Content & Copyright
You must own or have permission to use any logos, images, or content you give us.
Webzee Australia isn't responsible for any copyright issues with material you supply. You agree to cover us for any legal claims that come from using your material.
09 Website Ownership
Once your project is complete and fully paid, you own your website. You can use it on your own terms.
10 Our Branding
We may add a small "Built by Webzee Australia" credit to your site's footer.
If you don't want this credit, allow us to know before we start the project. We may charge a small fee to remove it.
11 Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)
We can't guarantee a specific ranking on Google or other search engines.
Our standard web design service includes basic SEO best practices. If you sign up for our dedicated SEO service, it runs for a minimum term of 6 months.
You need to give us 30 days' notice to cancel it.
12 Liability for Delays
We aren't liable for any loss or damage caused by delays, regardless of the reason.
13 Our Liability
We limit our liability as far as the law allows.
Where the law doesn't allow us to exclude liability, we limit it to redoing the work or refunding the cost of the affected service.
14 Subcontractors
We may bring in subcontractors to help deliver your project when needed.
15 Your Privacy
We keep your personal information private. We won't share it with third parties without your consent.
16 Extra Costs
Some services cost extra and aren't included in your quote.
These may include premium plugins, hosting, domain registration, or paid templates. We'll flag these costs before we use them.
17 Website Backups
If we don't manage your website ongoing, you're responsible for backing it up.
We aren't liable for lost data unless we caused the loss through our own negligence.
18 Governing Law
These terms follow the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any dispute goes through the Victorian courts.
19 E-Commerce Compliance
If you run an online store, you're responsible for following e-commerce laws.
You agree to cover us for any claims that come from your store or your customers' use of it.
20 Promotions
We can change, extend, or cancel any promotional offer at any time without notice.
